Gretel Patch has reared her four children in five countries so far and is a global nomad at heart. Passionate about where technology and education meet, Gretel enjoys working with students and teachers in a variety of settings. She holds a Masters of Educational Technology, a Technology Integration Specialist graduate certificate from Boise State University, and a BA in Communications from Brigham Young University. In 2013 she was selected to attend the Google Teacher Academy in Sydney and is a Google Certified Innovator. She has worked at Lincoln School in Nepal as a K-12 technology integration coordinator and in Virginia as a communications specialist for Falls Church City schools. She was presented in Washington, D.C. with the Secretary of State Award for Outstanding Volunteerism Abroad for her technology outreach efforts with disadvantaged Nepali students. Gretel has presented at ISTE, ASB Unplugged, Google Apps for Education summits, online conferences, and various professional development efforts. She is grateful to Phi Kappa Phi for this generous grant.
